Welcome to Home Ease Living. These Terms of Service
("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and
Home Ease Living ("we," "us," "our," or the
"Company") governing your access to and use of the
website homeeaseliving.org, together with any
renovation, design, remodeling, installation,
security, outdoor or energy-related service that we
make available through it (collectively, the
"Services"). We have tried to write these Terms in
plain language so that you understand what to expect
from us and what we expect from you before, during,
and after any project. By browsing the site,
completing our contact form, calling us, or
otherwise requesting information about a service,
you confirm that you have read, understood, and
agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If any
part of these Terms is unacceptable to you, please
discontinue use of the Services.
01 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the website or requesting a service you
confirm that you are at least eighteen years old,
that you have the legal capacity to enter into a
contract, and that you either own the property in
question or have the express permission of the
property owner to request work, estimates, or
information on their behalf. These Terms apply to
every visit to the site and every interaction with
our team, whether that interaction happens online,
over the phone, by email, or in person. We may
revise these Terms periodically, and your continued
use of the Services after a revision is posted
constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms, so
we encourage you to revisit this page from time to
time.
02 Description of Services
Home Ease Living presents general information about,
and helps coordinate inquiries for, a broad range of
home improvement categories, including full home
renovation, interior and exterior design, home
decor, bathroom remodeling, kitchen renovation,
roofing, gutter installation, flooring, door and
window installation, doorbell and smart-lock
installation, security items, fire safety items,
lawn items, and solar panel installation. The
descriptions, images, and pricing ranges that appear
on the website are provided purely for general
informational purposes and are meant to help you
understand the breadth of what we offer; they are
not an offer capable of acceptance and do not, by
themselves, create any obligation on our part to
perform work. The actual scope of any project, the
materials used, the professionals involved, and the
final price are always confirmed separately with
you, typically through a site visit, a written
estimate, or a signed service agreement, before any
work begins.
03 Estimates & Consultations
Submitting our contact form, sending an email, or
speaking with a member of our team does not, on its
own, create a binding service agreement between you
and Home Ease Living. Any estimate, quote, or
proposed timeline that we share with you is based on
the information available to us at that moment and
should be treated as preliminary. Once we have had
the opportunity to visit the property, assess site
conditions, and confirm material availability, the
final scope and price may change, sometimes
significantly, and any such change will be
communicated to you before work proceeds. We
reserve the right to decline a project, or to
propose alternative solutions, if we determine that
the work requested is not feasible, safe, or
appropriate for the property in question.
No guarantee of availability. Requesting a consultation does not guarantee that a specific service, appointment date, material, or professional will be available in your area at the time you need it.
04 Your Responsibilities
A successful home improvement project depends on
clear, accurate information and reasonable
cooperation from both sides. When you use the
Services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself, your property, and the improvements you are considering
- Confirm that you own the property or have the property owner's explicit permission to request the work described
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the property for estimates, consultations, deliveries, and scheduled work
- Disclose known structural issues, hazards, pre-existing damage, or access restrictions before work begins
- Secure any permits, homeowners' association approvals, or regulatory sign-offs that apply to your specific project, unless we have separately agreed in writing to handle this on your behalf
- Communicate promptly if your plans, budget, or timeline change so we can adjust accordingly
05 Payment Terms
Detailed pricing, deposit requirements, milestone
payments, and final payment terms for any confirmed
project are set out in the service agreement or
invoice provided to you separately from this
website, since every project's scope and cost are
unique. Unless a signed agreement says otherwise,
please keep the following in mind: informal
estimates discussed by phone, email, or during an
initial consultation are not final pricing and
remain subject to confirmation; deposits collected
to secure materials, labor, or a scheduling slot may
become non-refundable once materials have been
ordered or preparatory work has started; and any
additional work requested outside the originally
agreed scope will typically require a separate
quote and, where relevant, an additional payment
before that work is carried out.
06 Cancellations & Rescheduling
Plans change, and we understand that. If you need
to cancel or reschedule a consultation, estimate
visit, or confirmed service date, please let us
know as early as possible so we can adjust our
schedule and, where relevant, release the materials
or crew time that had been reserved for your
project. Depending on how much notice is given and
whether materials have already been purchased or
labor has already been arranged on your behalf,
cancelling or rescheduling close to the agreed date
may result in a partial charge to cover costs we
have already incurred, as described in your
specific service agreement.
07 Warranties & Disclaimers
Any warranty covering workmanship or materials for
a confirmed project will be described in detail in
the applicable service agreement or in the relevant
manufacturer's documentation, since warranty terms
can vary considerably between services such as
roofing, flooring, solar installation, or interior
design. Outside of what is expressly promised in a
signed agreement, the website itself and the
general information on it are provided "as is" and
"as available," without warranties of any kind,
whether express or implied, including any implied
warranty of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose. We do not warrant that the
website will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of
errors, and the photographs and descriptions shown
on the site are illustrative examples rather than a
guarantee of the exact appearance or outcome of any
specific project.
08 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law,
Home Ease Living and its owners, employees,
contractors, and affiliated professionals will not
be liable to you for any indirect, incidental,
special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for
any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill,
arising out of or in connection with your use of
the website, your reliance on general information
presented on it, or any delay that is outside our
reasonable control, such as weather, supply
shortages, or third-party delivery delays. This
limitation does not remove or reduce any liability
that cannot lawfully be excluded, and it does not
override the specific liability provisions
contained in a signed service agreement for a
confirmed project.
09 Intellectual Property
All text, graphics, layouts, logos, icons, and
photographs on this website are the property of
Home Ease Living or of the third parties who have
licensed that content to us, and they are protected
by copyright, trademark, and other applicable
intellectual property laws. You are welcome to view
the site and share individual pages for your own
personal, non-commercial reference, such as sending
a link to a family member while planning a project,
but you may not copy, republish, modify, or create
derivative works from our content for commercial
purposes without our prior written consent.
10 Acceptable Website Use
When using our website, you agree that you will not:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the site
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, our internal systems, or related networks
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to harvest content or data from the site without our written permission
- Interfere with the normal operation of the website or attempt to introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law
11 Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or
relating to them or to the Services, are governed
by the substantive laws applicable in your
jurisdiction of residence, without regard to
conflict-of-law principles. Where a specific service
agreement for a confirmed project names a different
governing law or dispute-resolution process, that
agreement will control for matters relating to that
project. We encourage you to raise any concern with
us directly first, using the contact details below,
so that we have the opportunity to resolve it
promptly and informally.
If you have any questions about these Terms, we would like to hear from you.

Home Ease Living ("we," "us," or "our") respects
your privacy and is committed to being transparent
about the way we handle information connected to
you. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain terms,
what information we collect when you visit
homeeaseliving.org or reach out to us about a home
improvement project, why we collect it, how we use
and protect it, who we may share it with, and the
choices available to you regarding your own
information. This policy applies to the website and
to any communication you have with us in connection
with the Services, whether that happens through our
contact form, by email, or over the phone. By using
the Services, you agree to the collection and use
of information as described in this policy.
01 Information We Collect
We collect information in a few different ways: the
information you choose to share with us directly,
information that is gathered automatically as you
browse our website, and, occasionally, information
we receive from third parties who assist us in
delivering a service. Information you provide
directly typically includes your name, phone
number, and email address; details about the
project you are considering, such as the type of
service, the rooms or areas involved, and any
notes, timelines, or budget preferences you share
in the message field of our contact form; and, if
you choose to share it, your property address so
that we can arrange an estimate or consultation.
Information collected automatically as you browse
includes your device and browser type, your
operating system, your approximate location based
on your IP address, the pages you view, how long
you spend on them, and which links or buttons you
interact with, all of which help us understand how
visitors use the site and where we can make it
clearer or more useful.
02 How We Use It
We use the information described above for a number of everyday, practical purposes connected to running the Services, including to:
- Respond to your inquiry and provide an estimate, consultation, or general information about a service
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate site visits and installation work
- Keep you updated on the status of your request or project
- Understand, in aggregate, how visitors move through and use the website so that we can continue to improve it
- Identify and address technical issues, unusual activity, or attempted misuse of the site
- Meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations, and enforce our Terms of Service where necessary
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent, trade, or otherwise share your contact details with third parties so that they can market their own products or services to you.
03 How We Share It
We keep the sharing of your information deliberately limited, and it generally only happens in the following circumstances:
- Trusted service partners: with contractors, suppliers, or specialists who help us fulfil a specific service you have requested, and who are expected to handle your information responsibly and only for that purpose
- Legal or safety reasons: when disclosure is required by law, by a valid legal process, or by a government authority, or when we believe in good faith that it is necessary to protect the safety of a person or property
- Business changes: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of some or all of our business assets, with notice provided to you where required by law
- With your consent: in any other situation where you have separately agreed to the sharing
04 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Like most websites, ours may use cookies and
similar small files to remember your preferences,
keep the contact form working correctly, and help
us understand overall visitor behaviour. You are
always free to adjust your browser settings to
block or delete cookies, or to alert you whenever a
cookie is being set, though doing so may mean that
some parts of the site, such as form validation or
remembered preferences, do not work as smoothly.
| Type | Purpose |
| Essential | Required for core site functionality, such as submitting the contact form |
| Analytics | Helps us understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it |
| Preference | Remembers basic display settings across visits |
05 Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and
physical steps designed to protect the information
we hold about you from unauthorized access,
disclosure, alteration, or loss, and we review these
measures periodically as our website and business
evolve. That said, no method of transmitting
information over the internet, and no method of
electronic storage, can be guaranteed to be
completely secure, so while we work hard to protect
your information we cannot promise absolute
security.
06 Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as it is
reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes
described in this policy, which typically means for
the duration of our relationship with you, plus a
reasonable period afterward to respond to
follow-up questions, maintain accurate business
records, and satisfy legal, accounting, or tax
requirements. Once information is no longer needed
for these purposes, we take steps to securely
delete or anonymize it.
07 Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights in relation to your personal information:
- The right to request access to the personal information we hold about you
- The right to request that we correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- The right to request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions
- The right to opt out of non-essential communications from us at any time
- The right to withdraw consent, where our processing of your information is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before that withdrawal
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in the "Contact Us" section below; we may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
08 Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for adults who are at
least eighteen years old and are capable of making
decisions about home improvement projects. We do
not knowingly collect personal information from
children, and if we become aware that we have
inadvertently collected information from a child,
we will take reasonable steps to delete it promptly.
09 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to
reflect changes in our practices, our Services, or
applicable legal requirements. When we make a
material change, we will update the "Last updated"
date at the top of this page, and we encourage you
to revisit this policy from time to time so that
you remain informed about how we handle your
information.
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, please reach out.
